OSIMHEN REPORTEDLY AGREES TOTTENHAMS MOVE AS CITY WANTS NWAKALI

Top scorer at the just concluded FIFA U-17 World Cup in Chile, Golden Eaglets' Victor Osimhen, has reportedly agreed a move to English Premier League side, Tottenham Hotspur.

Sources in England on Thursday claim Spanish publication AS scooped that officials of the North London club were in contact with representatives of the Nigerian youth star who set a tournament record at the U-17 World Cup with 10 goals in seven matches.

Osimhen scored 39 goals in 71 games during the Golden Eaglets preparatory matches and the CAF U-17 Championship before the World Cup in Chile, AS notes, a staggering goal-scoring feat that must have attracted the officials at White Hart Lane to his talent.

The 16-year-old Osimhen won the Adidas silver ball in Chile as the second Most Valuable Player of the tournament behind captain Kelechi Nwakali whom the report reveals is in talks with Manchester City.

City in 2013 snapped up Nwakali's older brother Chidiebere, and the Most Valuable Player of the 2013 U-17 World Cup, Kelechi Iheanacho.
