COMPUTER science graduate of University of Port Harcourt, Miss Pamela Peter-Vigboro Leesi (22), who represented Cross River State emerged winner of the Miss Nigeria 2015 beauty pageant in Lagos yesterday after a very keen contest.It was at the Grand Ballroom, Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island.
Kehinde Itunu Adeyemi, representing Jigawa State and Asiana Mary (Oyo State) emerged the first and second runners-up.
In its 39th edition this year, the Miss Nigeria beauty pageant was founded and first organized by the Daily Times in 1957. The winner of the maiden edition, Madam Grace Atinuke Oyelude, who was an employee of the United African Company (UAC) then and is now 82 years old, was also present at the event and was presented with a brand new Peugeot 601 saloon car .
Pamela, who was crowned by the out-going queen, Miss Ezinne Akudo, won the grand prize of N3 million cash, a brand new Kia Rio car, six months skill acquisition programme in any institution of choice, a year serviced apartment, and an all-expense paid trip abroad.
