JENNER LAWRENCE SEEMS TO BE BRINGING BACK THE BOBBY PIN BACK

While it takes twice the finesse (and a few Olaplex treatments) to make double-processed hair swingy and silky, its pliable texture does come with a few key beauty benefits. Case in point: Jennifer Lawrence, who made the most of the built-in traction that comes with a platinum dye job.

Spotted in New York City this week, her chin-length chop was crafted into a slapdash knot that was held together with just a few hairpins. It’s a street style–worthy alternative to a sprayed-into-place red carpet updo that would be difficult to create with a bob were it not for a roughed-up texture—and confirms something we’ve suspected all along: Having short, peroxided hair doesn’t reduce your styling options, as long as you stick to a Sunday deep-conditioning routine.
