FITNESS AND HEALTH CARE FOR YOU

Our skin is the largest live organ on our bodies.  You will be surprised how many of us that do not care about it.  What we find is a lot of people tend to concentrate on the face leaving their bodies neglected.  Our skin is with us throughout our entire lives- therefore it is imperative that we do learn about it and look after it through the decades.

Skin care at 20
At 20  years old usually our skin  glows and shines almost like it is showing off. You can’t imagine your skin letting you down. Yet, there are a  few  pimple  that show up every now and then. It is advisable to use mild skin care such as mild cleanser that have anti pimple.

Skin care at 30
At 30 years old, your skin will go through certain changes; such as, some part becoming oily, while some part might be dry. Dermatologist often advise to use the noncomedogenic skin care and choose cream or lotion with anti-oxidant such as those which contain Vitamin C. Believe it or not this is the age group (other than in your teens) that our skin can go nuts. I would recommend you not to panic but seek advice from an expert immediately.

Skin care at 40
At 40 years old, it is imperative to understand your skin. To slow down the deterioration of skin, you need to look after it continually.  However it is never too late.
Oil production will decrease at this stage, so, wrinkles and lines may appear, especially around lips and eyes.  Therefore, choose the best skin care products you can afford for your skin type.
But before choosing skin care products, consult a beauty therapist to check your skin condition. Make sure the products selected for your skin are the right ones.  At this stage in your life you do not want to use products that will cause your skin to react.

Skin at 50 years old and over
At 50 years old and above, your skin will look completely different to when you where in your 20’s unless you are very lucky. They say this is the stage to really start drinking lots of water.  Up to 8 glasses per day.  If there are many changes, you should see a consultant immediately.  If you do not maintain your skin at this stage you may loose the tightness for ever.  You will notice more lines, wrinkles and shadows in your 50’s. Don’t ignore them, treat them; get advice to reduce them.

Take care of yourself by resting, exercising and eating good food. Also, reduce stress and anger so your skin will stay glowing, naturally.Yes, life throws challenges at all of us.  But, if we are not careful we will wear all those challenges on our faces and bodies.
